Rising living costs and inflation are placing a heavy burden on many families in our community, making the purchase of back-to-school essentials a difficult challenge. Most of us are feeling the financial pinch right now, and we likely all know someone who is quietly struggling. Your generosity can make a real difference for a child starting the new school year.

With this in mind, we have decided to try and help with a collection of school supplies. Items needed are: backpacks, calculators, earbuds, pens, pencils, color pencils, crayons, erasers, highlighters, and glue sticks. (Please note: Notebooks (scribblers) and looseleaf paper are not required as the Foodbank already has a good supply of these items). We will be collecting until Labour Day weekend, and for those who wish to donate funds towards school supplies, envelopes will be available in the lobby of the church.
