Parish Survey

You are invited to fill out this “Parish Survey,” which will assist with on-going Parish Visioning.

More Information: The Diocese of Saint John has been fortunate enough to be included in a new program that the Catholic Leadership Institute offers to support Dioceses and Parishes throughout Canada and the US. Due to a grant from the Lily Foundation to this Institute, our Diocese has been selected as a diocese for which there is no cost to this program; this would otherwise be a significant amount. Our diocese has used this Institute previously (in 2016), to do a “Disciple Maker Index Survey” to assist parishes with their pastoral visioning processes. As part of a new Program, “Called for More,” the Disciple Maker Index will be done throughout the Diocese again in every Parish, between now and December 31st. This is the first step of a Two- Year Revitalization Process. At the same time, the priests of the diocese are entering a process for their on-going faith, personal, and leadership development.

The survey captures the experience of parishioners in regards to what nurtures, inspires, and supports their faith journey through the parish, as well as their needs, hopes, and desires. All responses will be confidential, and the parish will only receive information about the community as a whole. Once will receive the results of the survey, we will share what we have learned with the entire parish.

Ryan Tapley has generously accepted to be the Parish Point of Contact for implementing the Disciple Makers Index and organizing it in the parish.

We encourage as many parishioners as possible to fill out the survey online, by following the link above; however, paper copies will also be available. If you require a computer or other assistance in completing the survey online, please phone or e-mail to leave a message at the
parish office (506-444 6021 or office@stkateri.ca), and Ryan will be in touch.
