Knights of Columbus Community Breakfast

Sunday, April 12th from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at the Knicol Hall, 170 Regent Street.

Adults $ 12, Children $ 5, Families $ 35.

Proceeds will be used to assist with expenses for Saint Charbel Parish young people travelling to a Maronite Rite Youth Conference

Our ‘First’ Parish Bingo at St. Ann’s Church Hall in Bilijk (Kingsclear First Nation) begins on Monday, April 13thThe doors open at 5:00 pm and the Bingo starts at 6:00 pmThis Bingo has been put in place to raise funds for the Elder’s Pilgrimage to St. Anne de Beaupre which happens each June. It is also an initiative to foster relationships within the parish, wider community and with Indigenous and non-Indigenous in a relaxed and fun environment.

“The Fredericton Symphony Orchestra (FSO), formed in 1976, will be having a gala musical celebration at The Playhouse (Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30) to celebrate its 50th year. The featured work on the concert will be a performance of Haydn’s Paukenmesse, which will be performed in collaboration with special guests, the Fredericton Choral Society, and soloists Olivia LaPointe (Soprano), Jillian Bonner (Contralto), Shane Scott (Tenor), and Paul Bustin (Baritone). Rounding out the program will be performances of Brahm’s Academic Festival Overture and Fauré’s Élégie featuring Emily Kennedy on cello. Tickets are available at the Playhouse.

Grandmothers Helping Grandmothers is hosting a Bridge Luncheon on Thursday, April 23; 12 Noon; $60 / table; St. Theresa’s Church Hall; 1 William St. Proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, and Help Lesotho in support of grass roots community organizations in sub-Saharan Africa, where AIDS is still a serious health issue. Steubenville Atlantic Youth Conference & LEAD Registration is now open. This is a call to all high schoolers to come and explore how Jesus meets our deepest longing for meaning, joy, and love. Join hundreds of Catholic teens at Steubenville Atlantic in Halifax, July 10–12, 2026, and encounter the transforming love of Christ. Youth in grade 9 through grade 12 are welcome to attend.
